Thorp Motors Ltd, a quality used vehicle retailer was formed in 1968 operating in Southampton. We have operated from several locations until the opportunity arose to acquire our current prestige premises at the former Pennington Cross Garage in Lymington.

Anthony Thorp the current Managing Director joined the company in 1983 and has a wealth of experience buying high quality used cars for stock from a host of local Main Dealers from where the majority of our vehicles are sourced. Ken Ormond joined the company in 2000 as Sales Manager with over 40 years experience selling cars locally.

All used cars sold by Thorp Motors Ltd are fully HPI checked before being marketed for sale. All of our cars are sold with the benefit of our own warranty. We will accept any vehicle in part exchange regardless of the condition and accept all major debit and credit cards. Thorp Motors Ltd also hold a current Consumer Credit Licence and would be all too pleased to offer you a quote for Finance (subject to status).

Thorp Motors Ltd has recently been accepted to join Hampshire County Council Trading Standards Service Buy with Confidence Scheme. We are the only used car retailer in the Lymington area to meet the strict criteria for entry to the scheme.
